For nearly 50 years, ADC has defended the civil rights of Arab Americans. Today we are the only organization dedicated entirely to impact litigation against the pro-Israel lobby's campaign to silence dissent: defending students, journalists, and boycott supporters in court, and setting precedents that protect the civil liberties of every American.

For nearly 50 years, the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC) has been at the forefront of defending the civil rights and constitutional freedoms of Arab Americans.
Since October 7, 2023, our community and those who stand in solidarity with Palestine have faced an escalating campaign of censorship, intimidation, and political persecution. Government officials and the pro-Israel lobby have increasingly weaponized the law to punish political dissent, silence criticism of Israel and U.S. foreign policy, and erode the constitutional protections that form the very foundation of the American democratic experiment, which now faces its greatest test to date.
From the persecution of student protesters and journalists to unlawful deportations, illegal searches and seizures of personal electronic devices, attacks on the right to boycott and dissent, and the disenfranchisement of local residents through the blatant disregard of the will of the people -- these abuses strike at the heart of our democracy and threaten the fundamental freedoms of every American.
ADC has risen to the challenge, becoming the only organization dedicated entirely to strategic impact litigation confronting the Israel lobby's efforts to erode constitutional protections in order to keep American tax dollars flowing to Israel, and preserve largely unchecked U.S. diplomatic support.
Through precedent-setting legal battles in courts across the country, we are fighting not only to defend those targeted today, but also to establish lasting constitutional protections for generations to come.
