Peters on Harris in Michigan: ‘It’s a tough situation’
“It is a tough situation, there’s no question about it. Feelings are very raw … And people are deeply distraught about what they see happening in the Middle East and Kamala Harris has acknowledged that … But clearly, they know that Donald Trump’s not with them. Not the president that had a Muslim ban. Not the president that demeans folks who immigrate to our country. Donald Trump’s clearly not a friend to Muslim Americans or Arab Americans.”
